Infertility & Fertility Support

the grief no-one prepared You for

Infertility is one of the most isolating experiences a person can go through. The monthly cycle of hope and heartbreak, the weight of treatment, the strain on your relationship, the grief for a future that feels out of reach — none of this is something you should have to carry alone. Counselling is a space to put it all down for a while, with someone who genuinely understands how complex this experience is.

You don’t need to

explain yourself here.

A space for all of it — the hope and the heartbreak.

Infertility sits at the intersection of grief, identity, relationship, and medical experience — and it rarely gets the emotional support it deserves. People are often so focused on the next treatment, the next cycle, the next appointment, that the emotional weight accumulates quietly in the background. Counselling is a place to finally let it come forward.

Together, we'll make space for the full complexity of what you're carrying — the grief of what hasn't happened, the anxiety of not knowing, the exhaustion of hope, and the impact on your sense of self and your relationship. There's no version of this experience that's too much or too complicated to bring here.

Sessions are available to individuals and couples, and can run alongside your medical treatment — you don't need to have reached the end of your fertility journey to reach out.

Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT)

Infertility often brings deep shame and self-blame — "my body has failed me." CFT gently challenges that narrative and builds a kinder relationship with yourself through an incredibly difficult experience.

Narrative Therapy

Exploring the stories you've been telling yourself about what this means — about your identity, your worth, your future — and finding ways to hold those stories more lightly.

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Helping you stay connected to what matters most in your life — and take meaningful steps forward — even in the presence of profound grief and uncertainty.

Sessions that feel genuinely different.

  • No silver linings

You won't be encouraged to "stay positive" or told that "it'll happen when the time is right." This is a space for the reality of what you're experiencing — not a managed, optimistic version of it.

  • Grief held with care

The losses involved in infertility — each failed cycle, each pregnancy that didn't continue — are real and significant. They'll be treated as such here, with the weight and care they deserve.

  • Your pace, always

There's no timeline to follow and no expectation of where you'll be by session three. We work at whatever pace feels right — and you're in the driver's seat throughout.

However you're navigating this.

  • For individuals

Sometimes the most important thing is having a space that's entirely yours — where you don't have to manage your partner's emotions alongside your own, or perform a version of coping for someone else.

Individual sessions are a place to grieve openly, to say the things that feel too heavy to say out loud at home, and to work through your own experience at your own pace.

  • For couples

Fertility struggles can put enormous pressure on a relationship — even between two people who love each other deeply. You may be grieving differently, communicating differently, or simply feeling further apart than you've ever been.

Couples sessions create a supported space to hear each other again — and to navigate this journey as a team, without letting it quietly erode what you've built together.

You don't have to wait
until you're

at the end.

You don't need to have finished treatment, reached a decision, or arrived at any kind of resolution to reach out. Wherever you are in this journey — at the beginning, the middle, or the hardest part — there's support available now.
